PRESIDENT

Hi! My name is Ella Sawyer, and I am so incredibly honored to serve as Kappa Chapter’s President in 2024. I am from Enterprise, AL, and I am in my junior year at Samford. I am a Journalism and Mass Communications major with Public Relations and Advertising concentrations. As President, I oversee and work closely with Kappa’s Executive Board. I love watching each of our officer’s ideas come into fruition and walking alongside them as they accomplish their goals. I also get to spend a lot of time with individual sisters as President. I have loved getting to know their hearts and hear their stories. The women that make up Kappa are what truly sets our chapter apart from the rest. I can confidently say that I would not be the person or leader I am today without the impact Kappa Chapter has made on my college experience. I am so eager to continue learning, growing, and making memories alongside my sisters this year!

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Hey friends! My name is Whitney Bean, and I am a finance major from Danville, Kentucky. I get to serve as Vice President of Operations which is the biggest blessing ever! Organization and communication are the main goals of this position, and I get to do various things throughout the week such as update our chapter calendar, send chapter emails, and create the agenda for Executive Board meetings. Serving in this position is a gift every day and I am so grateful to be a part of the most incredible sisterhood on the planet. In addition, I love exploring every coffee shop in Birmingham, eating turkey toms at Jimmy John’s, and running on Jemison Trail whenever the sun is shining! I am forever grateful for the home I have found in Kappa Chapter!

VICE PRESIDENT OF RECRUITMENT

Hey everyone!!! My name is Emma Ferrante & I’m honored to be serving Alpha Delta Pi as the VP of Recruitment for this year. It’s an unfathomable privilege to get to love on these sisters each and every day. A few things about me: I am a rising senior Graphic Design major from Roswell, GA, and an avid lover of all things colorful. I am sandwiched between two brothers who are my BFF’s, I have a pet bird named Moose, and Coke Zero is my go-to drink. My favorite thing to do in BHAM is go to a coffee shop or watch the sunset! That about sums it up. To me, ADPi is home. In this role, I get to serve my sisters by inviting them into the in’s-and-out’s of recruitment, as well as preparing them to invite new members into our chapter. I also get the privilege of planning fun activities and themes to bond our sisters together throughout Work Week and Recruitment. We could not be more excited to meet you!

VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

Hi everyone! My name is Carolina Acosta, and I’m a health science major and a general business minor from Tupelo, Mississippi. This year, I have the honor of serving as Kappa’s Vice President of Marketing! Giving back to Kappa has been so special to me because I have seen so much self-growth during my time here. I just absolutely cherish this sisterhood! In this position, I have the fun opportunity to lead the marketing efforts, coordinating our social media, public relations, and merchandise activities. I'm thrilled to collaborate with my fellow officers to enhance our chapter with innovative marketing strategies, but above all, I look forward to working closely with my sisters! When I have spare time, you can usually find me working in downtown Homewood, exploring Birmingham with my sisters, or trying every single coffee shop that exists in the area!

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Hi everyone! My name is Mackenzie Stover, and I am a Human Development and Family Sciences major from Dawsonville, GA. I am so grateful and excited to serve Kappa as Vice President of Member Development this year! This role gives me the opportunity to pour into the chapter as a whole and to get to know the members on a deeper level. It is such an honor to serve a chapter that has brought me the best of friends and the sweetest memories during my college experience. ADPi continues to be my home away from home, provides opportunities to serve others, and it has been such an honor to be a part of this sisterhood! In my spare time I love to spend quality time with sisters, go for a long walk listening to a podcast, grab a coffee, or play pickleball! I cannot wait to see what is in store for this next year!

VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE

My name is Emily Fletcher and I am a finance major from Thompsons Station, Tennessee. I am thrilled to serve as the Vice President of Finance. One of the best parts of my role is seeing how the skills I learn in the classroom are applied in our chapter finances! I truly love working with my sisters to create a budget that allows us to grow and bless others! When I am not studying or working on the chapter’s monthly budget paperwork, I love to run, cycle, try new restaurants and grab coffee with my ADPi sisters! ADPi is such a blessing in my life and it is an honor to serve the Kappa chapter!

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Hey y’all!!! My name is Paige McNabb, and I am the Vice President of Membership Experience for the Kappa chapter of ADPI!! I am a Human Development and Family Science major, and my plan is to go to grad school after Samford and study to become a Marriage and Family counselor! I am from Acworth, Georgia, which is right outside of Atlanta (go Braves!!) I love Jesus, plants, antiquing, coffee shops, Poppi, my dogs, and my family and friends! I have adored my time as VPME so far, and enjoy being able to see what makes this sisterhood so special from a new lens. I love being a part of it all, and I LOVE being an ADPI! The people here have filled my cup in so many ways, and this sorority has truly been one of my biggest blessings. The Lord has been so faithful with my time here at Samford, and I cannot wait to continue to serve this chapter!

VICE PRESIDENT OF PANHELLENIC RELATIONS

Hey y’all! My name is Avery Pace, and I am a nursing major from the little town of Lexington, TN. It is such an honor to serve as Vice President of Panhellenic Relations for ADPi Kappa this year! I did not know anyone before coming to Samford, and I desired a community that was intentional, loving, ambitious, and Christ-centered. Kappa is all of this and more. My sisters are the selfless example that I strive to be each and every day. I hold this chapter so close to my heart, and I had always dreamed that I would be able to give back, just as it has given so much to me. In this role, I serve as the primary liaison between Kappa chapter and Samford Panhellenic. My goal is to promote sisterhood within Samford Panhellenic and encourage my sisters to be uplifting and encouraging towards other chapters. It may seem like a job for most, but to me, it is a relationship that I have the privilege to nourish and sustain. When I am not working on all things Panhellenic, I enjoy grabbing coffee with friends, running on lakeshore trail, or playing pickle ball on a beautiful day! Serving the women of Alpha Delta Pi is such a blessing, and I am thrilled to see what is yet to come for our chapter!

VICE PRESIDENT OF EVENT MANAGEMENT

Hey y’all! My name is Laney Green, and I’m a Human Development and Family Sciences major from Columbus, Georgia. This year, I have the honor of serving as Kappa’s Vice President of Event Management! Giving back to Kappa has been so special. I have seen the Lord throughout my time serving and He has been so faithful to this chapter. I have cherished my time as a sister and even more being able to poor back into a chapter that has given so much to me. This position has given me the fun and exciting opportunity to plan and oversee the chapter’s social events. Nothing could makes me happier than seeing my sisters make long-lasting memories and having so much fun together! Along with planning our social events, I spend my free time babysitting, serving as a YoungLife leader, and hanging out with my best friends! I’m so thankful for ADPI, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Kappa!

DIRECTOR OF PHILANTHROPY

Hey my name is Brooke! I am currently a sophomore accounting major from Newtown, Pennsylvania! I am so honored to serve Kappa as the Director of Philanthropy. This job entails planning and executing fundraising events for the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama and the local Birmingham community. I get to do all sorts of fun things such as activities at the RMHCA house, planning philanthropy week, setting up spirit nights, and educating the chapter about the Ronald McDonald House! Fundraising and philanthropy have a special place in my heart, I am so grateful to share this love with our chapter! When I am not on campus I love getting coffee with friends, long walks, and visiting my sister at Auburn!

DIRECTOR OF FACILITY MANAGEMENT

Hi! My name is Reagan Delmastro, and I am a sophomore from Kennesaw, Georgia. I am currently in nursing school here at Samford! I have the honor of serving Kappa as the Director of Facility Management. This position entails ensuring the house is clean, placing people into the rooms of the house, and getting to renovate different areas of the house! My ultimate goal within this position is to ensure everyone can call the ADPI house their home away from home! I am just so thankful for everything ADPI has given me, and it is truly an honor to be able to serve Kappa!! In my free time, I love to go on walks, take trips to Birmingham Nutrition, and go shopping with my friends!
